Hunters & Gatherers | Downtown DeLand
Hunters & Gatherers is looking for a line cook to join our kitchen crew.
We are a busy, creative restaurant in Downtown DeLand serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend features. Our menu is built around bold flavors, seasonal ingredients, and plates that feel a little unexpected in the best way.
We are looking for someone who can move with purpose, stay organized, and bring good energy to the line.
What We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
- Experienced on the line
- Clean, organized, and reliable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Able to follow recipes and plating standards
- Willing to prep, stock, clean, and jump in where needed
- A team player with a solid attitude
- Proud of the food they put out
What You’ll Do
- Work the line during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or brunch service
- Prep ingredients and station items
- Plate food consistently and with care
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
- Communicate with the kitchen and FOH team
- Help maintain food quality, safety, and restaurant standards
Schedule
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Must have availability for nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- ServSafe preferred or willing to obtain
- Must be dependable, professional, and ready to work
